Terms & Conditions

Please read below for our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions cover all bookings for Spring Lea Fishery and Holiday Park. If you need any further information, or clarification on the below terms, please contact us.

Reservations at Spring Lea Fishery

Your tent pitch will be available from 12:00pm on the booked day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. We reserve the right to re-let pitches if a booking is not claimed by 6pm, unless prior arrangements have been made with us.

Tent Bookings

We require payment in full upon arrival.  Provisional bookings made by telephone will be cancelled after 7 days if not confirmed in writing by email to [email protected]

Confirmation

Your booking will be confirmed in writing and park rules emailed. Email addresses may also be used by Spring Lea Fishery for marketing purposes but WILL NOT be passed onto third parties.

Number in Party

We allow a maximum of 6 people per pitch. If maximum occupancy is exceeded, two pitches must be booked. Groups or large parties are only permitted with prior arrangement.

Dogs

We permit dogs on the Spring Lea site. The surrounding area at Spring Lea is fantastic for dogs, with many walks leading directly from the park to dog-friendly pubs. We do, however, require dog owners to read the below carefully and abide by our dog rules so that we can maintain a happy park:

  • We accept well-behaved dogs throughout the season.
  • Dogs stay at our discretion, with a maximum of 2 dogs, of any size, per pitch.
  • We do not accept any dog listed under the Dangerous Dog Act. No Bull breeds, mastiff or rottweillers .
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in any area of the park.
  • Dogs must only be exercised in the designated dog walking area. Please do not let your dog roam freely and do not exercise them on empty pitches, or anywhere other than the designated area. Dogs are permitted around the fishing lakes No dog walking around the lake where a match is in progress.
  • You must clear up after your dog and use the dog bins provided. Please do not let your dog foul by other customer’s pitches.
  • Dogs must not be left unattended at any time. Please do not leave dogs in cars, caravans, tents, motorhomes or awnings at any time on their own.
  • Noise must be kept to a minimum at all times, so as not to disturb the peace for other customers.
  • Please be considerate and understand that, although you love your dog, not everybody on our park will, please keep them under control at all times.

Weather

We regret the weather conditions are beyond our control and we cannot refund any monies if you cancel your booking or reduce your stay due to the weather.

Vehicles

Vehicles can be parked by your tent. If you have more than one vehicle in your party, please park additional car/s on the car park.  Additional vehicles and commercial vehicles must be parked in the car park areas.

Alteration to bookings

Once your booking has been confirmed, minor changes will not incur charge, however excessive amendments could incur a £5 administration charge. Amendments to your booking cannot be made upon arrival to the park.

VAT

VAT is included at the current rate.

Requests

We will try to honour your requests where we can, but we are unable to guarantee specific pitch allocation.

Amenities

Spring Lea Fishery and its employees accept no liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage to any persons or property occupying or using any part of the park, however caused. Any person in breach of the booking conditions or park rules, may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given. Any person causing offence to other guests at the park may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given.

The decision of Spring Lea on all the above will be final.

All pitches must be vacated by 10.00am unless you have permission to do so otherwise. A late stay change will be incurred if you stay later than the departure time. Please enquire at reception for availability and fees.

Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times, especially when using the park’s facilities.

We ask everyone to respect other visitors on the park and keep noise levels down between 10.00pm and 8.00am. This also includes televisions and radios, which should be used considerately during the day, and should not be audible outside of your  touring caravan, or tent from 10pm – 8.00am

Play Area – Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Please refrain from allowing your children to use the play area after 9.00pm.

In the interest of safety, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted. Bicycles may be ridden on the park if used in a safe manner. Please do not ride bicycles around the busy areas of the reception/Lakeside Café, amenities building or fishing lakes.

BBQ’s are permitted but MUST be placed on a stand.

Ball games must not be played in the vicinity of any accommodation. Please use the large area at the rear of the camping field.

The speed limit when driving into, and around the park, is strictly 5 mph for all vehicles, including bicycles.

Payment of your fees constitutes accepting these terms and conditions.

Spring Lea Fishery reserves the right to terminate the booking of anyone who fails to abide by the park rules. The Management’s decision will be final.
