The Retreat at Spring Lea is the ultimate in luxury fishing holidays in Shropshire. Set on the highest area of the park, The Retreat allows you to take advantage of the magnificent views from Spring Lea, whilst also providing peace and tranquillity as one of the quietest areas of the park.
The Retreat is home to three high-quality caravan holiday homes, The Polemere, The Pontesford and The Plealey. Each holiday home has been hand selected to offer our guests that home-away-from-home feeling. Each of our caravan holiday homes come fully kitted with everything you need for your stay, including linen. You’ll also benefit from exclusive use of your own outdoor seating area with a firepit BBQ.
All bookings include one fishing pass, with extra passes available to purchase at reception. A fishing tackle locker is also located at the rear of the holiday home, with locks to keep your tackle safe.
The Retreat at Spring Lea is dog friendly, with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed for each booking. We ask that owners keep dogs off the furniture and beds at all times. The park has a dedicated dog walking area, where you are free to let your dog off the lead – please keep dogs on a lead at all times other than when in the exercise field. Please note that dogs are not allowed onto the fishery.
Arrival time for bookings at The Retreat are from 3pm on the day of your booking. Departures will need to vacate their holiday home by 10am at the latest.

Walking trails at Rea Brook Valley, Mousefield Nature Reserve and Earl’s Hill Nature Reserve are all just a stone’s throw from the park – a great way to enjoy the stunning Shropshire countryside. Just 20 miles away is Hawkstone Park Follies which is bursting with natural beauty.
We’re also located less than 20 minutes’ drive from the town of Shrewsbury, filled with bars, restaurants, and a selection of independent and chain retailers for a fun day out.
